Liverpool and Tottenham go head-to-head in a mouthwatering Premier League encounter this weekend - and Robbie Savage has given his prediction.

The Reds are two points clear at the top of the table, although nearest rivals Manchester City have played a game fewer.

Given that City take part in the opening fixture of the Premier League weekend, when they travel to Fulham, Jurgen Klopp’s men will be desperate to earn the three points.

But Savage has predicted that they’ll have a tough outing against their top four-chasing rivals, and Spurs will come away with a draw.

And the Mirror Sport columnist believes City will earn a win at the relegation-threatened Cottagers, a result that will move them top of the table on goal difference.

Elsewhere, Manchester United have been tipped to celebrate Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first game as full-time boss by overcoming Watford.

The Blues are currently sixth, three points behind Arsenal, who are fourth and preparing to host Newcastle on Monday night.

And Sav has backed Arsenal to overcome the Magpies at the Emirates Stadium, which would see them remain in the top four.

He's also given his take on the crunch Old Firm derby - and believes Rangers will secure a shock victory at fierce rivals Celtic.

Robbie Savage's Premier League predictions

  • Fulham 0-3 Man City
  • Brighton 1-0 Southampton
  • Burnley 1-1 Wolves
  • Crystal Palace 2-0 Huddersfield
  • Leicester 2-1 Bournemouth
  • Man Utd 3-1 Watford
  • West Ham 2-1 Everton
  • Cardiff 0-2 Chelsea
  • Liverpool 2-2 Tottenham
  • Celtic 1-2 Rangers
  • Arsenal 2-0 Newcastle
