Paul Pogba admitted he played through the pain during Manchester United's 3-1 win over Swansea on Sunday.

The world's most expensive player was substituted in the first half of United's Europa League defeat to Fenerbahce on Thursday after sustaining a knock to his knee, writes Mirror Football's Liam Corless.

But he lined up for United at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday and scored a stunning opening goal as the Red Devils went on to clinch just their second win in eight Premier League games.

"I always say that when you go with your head, everything will follow," Pogba told MUTV before jetting off to France on international duty.

"It [the injury] is not gone. It's still here. I was fit enough to play and after the gaffer put me in I played and I give my best every time."
