Arsenal have joined the hunt for Chelsea youngster Ola Aina.
The Gunners are among a clutch of clubs tracking the promising England under-21 defender and considering trying to exploit his Chelsea contract wrangle.
Right-back Aina’s current Blues deal expires in the summer.
And having refused to sign a new deal so far the 19 year-old has been demoted from Chelsea’s first-team set-up to the under-21s, edging him closer to the exit.
Arsenal are keen on a summer move for Aina with Mathieu Debuchy likely to leave after falling down the pecking order at the Emirates.
Carl Jenkinson - currently on loan at West Ham - may also be allowed to leave, despite being handed a new deal last summer, which would
leave Arsene Wenger in the market for a new defender back up to Hector Bellerin.
The Hammers, who also want a new right-back in the summer, have Aina in their sights too along with Everton.
Aina has also attracted interest from German sides Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen plus Italian side Napoli.
