David Moyes makes £6m bid for Arsenal forward Joel Campbell

David Moyes has made a £6million bid to sign Arsenal forward Joel Campbell.

Real Sociedad boss Moyes is hopeful of beating off competition from Portuguese giants Benfica to get the 23-year-old.

Costa Rica star Campbell joined Villarreal on loan last January as part of Arsenal’s deal for defender Gabriel Paulista.

He has also had full seasons on loan at Lorient in France, Spain's Real Betis and Olympiacos of Greece during his Gunners career.
