Nairobi, Kenya: AFC Leopards Goalkeeper Wycliffe Kasaya says he is chaffed at reuniting with his former coach Zdravko Logaruši?.  The Kenyan international says he knows Coach Zdravko very well and will be ready to play under him once again following the Croat’s arrival at AFC Leopards on Thursday afternoon for a one year deal.

“I’m telling my teammates that we’ll have a really good time with Loga.” Says Kasaya and adds  “I played under him for a whole year and so I know him in and out. It will not be difficult to settle even though we’ve been apart for two years now.”

Wycliffe Kasaya was in Logarusic’s 2012 double-winning squad at Gor Mahia before the Croat decided he could not have any more of him at the start of season 2013. Despite that two’s separation, Kasaya still has pleasant memories of his former coach.

“One thing I admire is his assertive nature that does not keep him mum when his players are suffering. He will champion for the financial rights of players to a point administration will not be comfortable with him.”

Coach Zdravko Logarusic has been out of a coaching job since he left Tanzanian giants Simba FC mid last year and it will be interesting how he fits in at Ingwe – his former employers’ archrivals. We are surely braced for an exciting season.
