Craving an easy-to-make beef dish? Look no further! With just a handful of readily available ingredients, you can prepare this delicious spicy sautéed beef with ugali and kachumbari.

Here is what you will need:

1 kg beef steak, cut into strips

1 tablespoon garlic-ginger mince

Salt to taste

1 teaspoon turmeric powder

1 teaspoon ginger powder

1 teaspoon chilli powder

1 teaspoon cumin powder

1 teaspoon black pepper powder

Juice of 1 lime or lemon

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

2 onions, sliced

Fresh coriander, chopped

What to do:

Mix the meat, garlic-ginger mince, salt and all the spices in a bowl. Pan-sear in a non-stick pan with vegetable oil until the meat releases its juices. Cook until the liquid evaporates, then add a half cup of water and bring to a boil.

Add the sliced onions, mix well and cook for another 5 minutes. Finish with fresh coriander, and you are ready to serve your nyama with ugali and kachumbari.

NB: If you are using a tough cut of beef, please feel free to add extra water and cook until the meat is tender. Enjoy!
