Beyonce and Solange

Beyonce and Solange Knowles have both made Vogue’s 2011 best-dressed list, which just goes to show that style runs in the family. Both are talented in their own way with Beyonce, 30 being a megastar and Solange 25 being songwriter, singer, model and DJ. They have both admitted to sharing outfits despite their differing fashion styles and regularly hang out as family with Beyonce baby sitting Solange’s seven-year-old son Jules who likes to call her ‘Aunt Bey’.

Tia and Tamera

Both sisters gained fame through the popular sitcom Sister Sister that saw the two of them star in a comedy about twin sisters. Since then, the twins have grown with Tia having a starring role in BET’s the Game and Tia has had a recurring role in the medical drama Strong Medicine. The twins now have their own reality show Tia and Tamera on the style network in UK. Tamera is two minutes older.

Venus and Serena

Both sisters began playing tennis when they were young and soon took the world by storm once they turned professional. Venus 31 and Serena 30, are currently both ranked among the top ten tennis players in the world. Venus has 21 grand slam titles under her belt and an associate degree in fashion design while Serena has 27 grand slam titles and has been ranked number one in the world five times since her debut on the tennis court.

Angela and Vanessa

Angela 24, and Vanessa 28 are both daughters of 1980’s rap star Reverend Run formerly of the group Run DMC. Both sisters were part of the reality show Run’s House that followed Rev Run’s family’s daily activities. They have both started a shoe line, Pastry, and are involved in fashion and acting.

Olsen Twins

The Olsen twins began acting as six-month-old babies in the hit comedy Full House. The identical twins have also acted in The Adventures of Mary Kate and Ashley among other films that used their twin brand. They started a company called Dualstar, which through selling of their merchandise and lifestyle products has seen the twins get ranked by Forbes magazine as the 11th richest women on the planet with their fortune estimated at US$100 million (Sh9 billion).

The Braxtons

Toni, Traci, Towanda, Trina and Tamar aka Dotcom are the Braxton sisters who featured in the hit reality series, Braxton Family Values. The sisters argue, cry together, eat together and in the end are there for each other. Though Toni was the only one who made it big, the show has given fans an opportunity to differentiate between the sister and even hate or like a few of them.

Hlelo and Thando

Hlelo and Thando Musina are South African radio presenters and Africa’s first reality star duo. They both star in the show Blame It on The Fame that follows them in their quest for careers in the entertainment industry. It helps that Da Twinz as they are popularly known are funny, down to earth and beautiful. They have since appeared on various magazine covers in SA and their show has been renewed for a second season.

Khloe, Kim and Kourtney Kardashians

They may be famous for the wrong reasons but the Kardashians are not about to stop. Their hit show, The Kardashians has not only minted them money , it has also made them famous the world over. All sisters somehow manage to get along despite the cameras. Drama and petty fights.
