Where did you learn to make Jewellery?
I taught myself how to make Jewellery. I would see something, buy it, see how it was done, then make myself one in my own style. Lucy Bridget Achieng’
How would you describe your style?
I like things that are unique, and that is what I go for. Something that you can’t easily find in the streets. Something that is loud and makes a statement.
What inspires your creativity?
I love colours, bright colours and nature. I get lots of ideas, even in the middle of the night and I have to wake up and work on it.
Do you ever get stuck in terms of creativity?
I am a sensitive person and that makes me easily distracted by situations.
Is this something you have always been doing?
I actually studied IT, Hospitality and Management. I used to make jewellery more as a hobby but two years ago, I started taking it more seriously and now it’s my business.
Where do you sell your jewellery?
Afro-fusion events, Kianda Festival, exhibitions and personal clients.
