Diamond Platnumz has risen to become a household name for impacting generations with his Bongo music. His music has managed to cut across generations and nationalities, a quality that has seen won him international awards, tours and collaborations.
Diamond made his debut into music with “Nenda kamwambie”, and from then on has been rising over the years across social media platforms including instagram where he recently hit the coveted 1 million mark.
This makes him the first musician in East Africa to hit the 1million mark, joining Kenyan actress Lupita Nyongo, Nigeria's Davido and Wiz Kid who are the only other artistes to hit the 1 million followers on the Instagram.
