Kenyan entertainer Akothee this week condoled with her ex-husband Jared Okello following the loss of his dad Evans Otieno Maduma.
Akothee stated that she does not harbor any hard feelings towards Okello and although their marriage did not work, she had to be there to grieve her father-in-law.
“Your loss is our loss, I could not let you do this alone,you know where we have come from. You are my personal person and my best friend.
“The weight on your shoulder Is heavy, but from the man of God That I know, you shall pull through Jakwath. May God give you strength, patience and comfort wuon Nyithindo. We love you my darling,” she wrote.
Jared and Akothee were blessed with three daughters; Vesha, Rue and Fancy.
Further, Akothee said divorce should not be ugly and women should bring unity and love to their in-laws.
“Any woman who was once married in a family and has kids from that family, you are in that family for a course… bring unity and not division, love and not hate.
“Embrace the new family God has given you. Family is created by God, relationship is built by God ,and friendship is made by human beings Meet my bereaved families . My mom and my family also came to condole with us. My Mom LOVES JARED & I can't tell her nothing about his son in-law.”
