Nigerian singer Flavour has surprised his childhood friend with a car gift. In a series of posts shared via his Instagram stories, the friend identified as Asuwa Dede thanked the music star for the gift.
"Thank you Flavor, for this beautiful gift. God bless you," he captioned one of the photos.
Asuwa, who is also a musician, was completely out of words as he never expected such a gift from his childhood friend.
"What shall I say unto you oh Lord. All I have to say is thank you," he wrote.
The music star joins the list of celebrities who have surprised close friends and family with cars gift.
In 2017, Nigerian singer Davido went all out to surprise his childhood friend with a petrol tanker as a birthday gift. Delivering the gift to his friend, the Jowo hitmaker expressed gratitude to his friend, identified as Lateef Biola, for his support throughout the years.

The DMW boss posted the photo of a petrol tanker revealing that Lateef Biola had always wanted to own his own Oil & Gas business, and that was his own contribution towards that dream.
"Happy birthday bro!! You have been with me since I was 12 … even before I even thought about doing music! You said you wanted to set up an OIL AND GAS company. It's your birthday, so I went and got you a tanker!!!!! Sha gives me free diesel lol! Congrats to LATINO OIL AND GAS!!!," he wrote.
In 2019, Wasafi boss Diamond Platnumz threw his then girlfriend Tanasha Donna and his mother Bi Sandra a larger-than-life birthday party where he surprised the two with brand new car gifts.
"Words can't express how happy I am to celebrate the rebirth of the two women that I love the most. My lovely mom Mama Dangote and lovely baby Tanasha Donna," he wrote earlier on that day.
He got his mother a white Toyota Land Cruiser V8 and a Toyota Land-cruiser Prado for Tanasha. However, the two fell out, and Tanasha returned the car gift and relocated back to Kenya.

The car gifts from Diamond did not stop there. Just last year, Diamond Platnumz gifted Zuchu with a car as a present to welcome her to the celeb world. In his message, while handing the car keys to Zuchu, the 'Jeje' hitmaker asked her to be disciplined just like her mother, Khadija Kopa.
"In life everything is possible, but we need to believe in our dreams and pray a lot. Be respectful and disciplined. I wish you all the best, Zuchu," he said.
In 2018 Diamond also purchased two brand new Toyota Harriers, each estimated to cost Sh2.7 million for his record label signees, Mbosso and Lavalava. According to Diamond, they both deserved the gifts for their hard work and dedication.
