Katy Perry has revealed how she sneakily got into nightclubs before she became a worldwide pop sensation. The songstress, now 36, says she pretended to be her lookalike Zooey Deschanel, 40, in a bid to get herself into clubs when she first moved to Los Angeles as a "broke" teen.

Katy's looks have been likened to Zooey in the past, so it was easy for her to pretend to be the star during a night out. Her cunning plan worked as she admitted there was no trouble being able to gain entry into exclusive clubs as famous actress Zooey, back when she had "no money".
