James Blunt has lifted the lid on the darker - and downright bizarre - side of fame. The former army officer burst onto the scene in 2005 with mega-hit You're Beautiful, which seized the number one spot in 11 countries around the globe and cemented James' superstar status.
He even performed the song at Sir Elton John and David Furnish's civil ceremony that same year. James has since recounted seeing his ex-girlfriend on the subway with another man, providing the heartbroken inspiration for the lyrics. But a superfan-turned-stalker was convinced the track had been penned about her, alleging James had been the one stalking her after laying eyes on her in 1984.
