Kanye West wants to transform US Government into Black Panther's Wakanda

News
Kanye was inspired by T'Challa from Black Panther.

Kanye West wants to shape the US Government like the fictional Black Panther country of Wakanda, should he come to office. The billionaire rapper, 43, announced earlier this week that he intended to run for the US presidency.

Speaking to Forbes about his plans for the United States, the rap star suggested that his inspiration for the White House would come from the fictional Marvel location.

The dad of four explained that he wanted to mimic the innovation and holistic approaches that appear to be represented in Wakanda.

During his interview - that Forbes reported as 'rambling' - Kanye appeared drawn to the idea of working with the country's scientists, just like King T’Challa does in Marvel's Black Panther.

“A lot of Africans do not like the movie (Black Panther) and representation of themselves in…Wakanda," he told the publication.

"But I’m gonna use the framework of Wakanda right now because it’s the best explanation of what our design group is going to feel like in the White House…"

"That is a positive idea: you got Kanye West, one of the most powerful humans - I’m not saying the most because you got a lot of alien level superpowers and it’s only collectively that we can set it free.

"Let’s get back to Wakanda… like in the movie in Wakanda when the king went to visit that lead scientist to have the shoes wrap around her shoes.”

He added: "Just the amount of innovation that can happen, the amount of innovation in medicine - like big pharma - we are going to work, innovate, together.

"This is not going to be some Nipsey Hussle being murdered, they’re doing a documentary, we have so many soldiers that die for our freedom, our freedom of information, that there is a cure for AIDS out there, there is going to be a mix of big pharma and holistic.”

During his lengthy four-hour interview with the publication, Kanye went on to speak about everything from his relationship with God to claiming he has had COVID-19.

He also added he hasn't developed a foreign policy, but it would be very much "America, first, with our great military."

As well as breaking out into freestyle rap at times, he also said that he was pro-life "because I’m following the word of the Bible”.

It is unclear at this point if Kanye's dream will come to fruition, as he has already missed several key deadlines for the political run.
