Family disowns daughter seeking special marriage licence

A family has disowned a daughter and further indicated that she is not entitled to anything in the family inheritance after she applied for a special marriage licence.

Shalom Shoremi, had made the request at the Federal Marriage Registration in Nigeria to allow her to consummate a same-sex marriage, which was rejected as it is variance with the marriage laws in Nigeria.
