After failing to show up for a court case hearing on May 29th, 2018, the former Miss Tanzania left tongues wagging after her mother, Miriam Sepetu told the Dar es Salaam court that her daughter, who is facing drug-related charges, could not attend court proceedings because she was in India for treatment.
Shortly after her return, Tanzanian tabloids reported that the award winning actress had gone to India for waist reduction treatment and liposuction showing before and after photos of Wema to prove their case.
