Why Otile Brown and Vera Sidika took three HIV tests

For a moment, the hook up between the socialite Vera and singer Otile sounded like a publicity stunt but from the look for things, they might be really sticking together.

Speaking to Wasafi TV, Otile Brown revealed that the two have gone for HIV tests three times since they were an item.

Counting back since they officiated their relationship five months ago, Vera and Otile have been testing almost every one and a half months to determine their HIV status.

“It was the third time we were actually doing it,’’ Otile confirmed when asked about the testing.

‘’The reason why we posted our HIV results was to encourage others to do it. It’s good to have a test and get to know your status,’’ he added.

Following in the footsteps of Rayvanny who posted his HIV results a few days ago, the bongo artist urged youths and his fellow artists especially, to follow suit.

“People thought that we posted after we found out that we were negative but that’s not true. It was a random plan. We were on a road trip, saw a nice place and decided to go for a test.” Otile said.

And to those who are living with HIV, he advised them to continue living.

“If you’re HIV positive, life has to go on,” the artist said.
