Zetech University students will benefit from internship opportunities.
The University plans to sign a partnership with Standard Media Group before the end of July, to ensure students land such opportunities.
The Standard Group PLC Strategy and Innovation team visited the university and had an innovation challenge session with the students.
Zetech University Deputy Vice Chancellor-Academics, Research, Extension and student affairs, Dr Alice Njuguna, said the University is committed to offering quality education.
‘’Our mission is to promote excellence in education and research by integrating innovation, and entrepreneurship to impact society,’’ said Dr Njuguna.

Dr Njuguna welcomed the partnership, noting the media house will help them scale up their innovations among other benefits.
‘‘Our three-year renewable partnership will see us benefit from each other by adding value to the students,” said Dr Njuguna.
Standard Group PLC’s Chief Officer - Operations and Strategy Mr Benedict Omollo said the partnership will enhance the partnership in terms of innovations and bring them to light. ‘’We look forward also to partnering with other institutions of higher learning along the same line and Zetech is just one of them,’’ said Mr Omollo.
The university plans to expand by opening up a new university in Mang’u area, which she says is now complete. “We foresee building a technology park and become the Silicon Valley of Thika Road.’’
