Palaver - 06/02/12

The panic that has gripped some ODM MPs over Mudavadi’s sudden epiphany as regards the presidency is amusing and infantile. If this continues, two prominent rivals of the Lang’ata MP won’t need to ride on The Hague issue to derail his so-called train to the house on the hill. The "money has been poured" chants that were last heard when Kanu was in power have returned, only this time it is Raila’s deputy being accused of working for the PM’s rivals. Give us a break! If ODM really believes in fair play, it should stop this nonsense. Ominously, Prezzo promised to return at a future date to see how well they have exploited this strategic resource. In short, the President was saying: "Make this economic opportunity work for you." But were any of the local MPs listening?

By Sunday, there was a 46 point gap between bottom team Wigan and Manchester City. The EPL will soon resemble Spain’s La Liga.
