Tea farmers threaten a go-slow should fired clerks fail to be reinstated

Meru, Kenya: Over 500 tea farmers from Igoji west, Imenti south constituency, Meru County have threatened to go on a go slow if the clerks that had been allegedly fired are not reinstated.

The farmers who had denied supply of tea to Kinoro tea factory for three days say the factory fired the clerks and asked drivers to be weighing and collecting tea, a move they say will take them back to the old days.
