Mombasa blogger and political activist Bruce John Khajira, also known as Chawa-001, has protested being abandoned and exposed to danger by the Witness Protection Agency (WPA).
On September 12, 2024, Bruce was accosted by more than 10 people on motorbikes at Bamburi Mwisho. The gang forced their way into his house and abducted him.
