The Standard Group Plc is a
multi-media organization with investments in media platforms spanning newspaper
print operations, television, radio broadcasting, digital and online services. The
Standard Group is recognized as a leading multi-media house in Kenya with a key
influence in matters of national and international interest.
The two flags were the centre of the show. One, maroon - the Regimental Colours, and the second, a Kenyan flag - the Presidential Colour.
It wasn't the Kenyan flag as you are used to it. Its seams were embroidered and, in place of the shield, was the Coat of Arms. On the top right corner, the number 21 for the 21 Battalion of The Kenya Rifles was emblazoned in gold.
