Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya was Friday elected chairman of the Council of Governors (CoG) with Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru being voted as the vice chair.
Salim Mvurya who is the outgoing vice chair of the Council of Governors will succeed Turkana Governor Josphat Nanok in six months at the end of his one-year term.
