After the Supreme Court ruling on Friday on NASA petition, Wavinya Ndeti has urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to respect the judges and stop calling them names.

Speaking at her secretariat in Athi-river on Saturday, Ms Ndeti said that the court is an independent body and should earn its respect.

“I really feel all the leaders should respect the decision of the court. It is cruelty for President Uhuru Kenyatta to turn against the Supreme Court since He is a beneficiary of it.” She said.

She also recalled how the President and his deputy William Ruto had earlier called on both parties to accept the outcome of the ruling.

Ms Ndeti called upon Jubilee to stop protecting IEBC since it is the body that has caused all the problems.

“Let everyone carry their cross. Let us go back on the ground and whichever party wins fairly we will accept.” She said.

Ms Ndeti who lost to Governor Alfred Mutua in the Machakos gubernatorial race also said that she will be going to court for a petition.

“IEBC has also affected other regions and therefore we are also going to the court for a petition.  We assure the people of Machakos that their vote will be justified.” She said.
