Powerful forces could be working for thr removal of CS over his medling in Mt Kenya politics

A powerful cabinet secretary is not sitting easy after the polls. During the campaigns, the CS who has shelved his political ambitions was accused of fielding his own candidate in a county in Mt. Kenya. The reasoning behind the CS decision was that come 2022 he would have an weaker candidate to run against.

His gamble spectacular fell after his choice was rejected by the voters. Now there is talk that there are some forces working towards his removal from the cabinet. If this was to happen, the CS will be left in political wilderness for four years as he waits for the candidate he worked against to complete his term hoping that the burden of incumbency will weigh him down and make him an easier target to beat.
