In the Nyali parliamentary race, one of the most contested seats in the region, Ashraf Bayusuf, Sanjeev Agarwal and Yassin Noor were among the prominent names that featured in Jubilee’s list. At the end of the eve of the Jubilee's nominations, Ashraf Bayusuf was announced the winner. Words on the street have it that Jubilee's pointman in Mombasa county was not pleased with the results since he preferred Yassin Noor who was the second runner's up.
