Partnering on e-learning good for Africa

At least 92 per cent of government decision-makers in the field of education across Africa believe e-learning is important in improving education while 57 per cent believe their governments could do better by implementing e-learning initiatives to bridge the digital divide.

This emerged from a survey at this year’s Innovation Africa Summit held in Kenya in September. Innovation Africa is the largest annual gathering of high-level officials from more than 40 African countries, who come together to discuss challenges and opportunities around education, ICT, science and technology.
