Fourteen Bomet MCAs have accused the State of using police to silence Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto.

Speaking yesterday, the MCAs said there was a political hand in the incident in which the governor was injured.

“It was a scheme to silence our governor because he has been vocal against Jubilee. It is sad that security personnel are taking sides,” said Boito MCA Robert Bett.

They gave Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaisery three days to transfer Bomet County Commissioner Bernard Leparmarai and other top security officers.
