Freedom!
Simple word but has really played a bigger part in shattering dreams of many
university students in Kenya today. What does the word really mean? I go with
George Orwell’s definition as the right to tell people what they do not want to
hear and of cause that’s why I am writing this so that maybe you may decide to
choose which side you lay because we always have a choice.
After
joining campus many students misuse freedom to an extent that it has lost its
importance forgetting how our freedom fighters struggled to earn it. They
believe they are free from rules and have a platform to try something new
without supervision.
