How the mind of an optimist works

I remember when I was 12 years and mummy would sweetly tell me to read and work hard so as to become a great person in life. The same time I would find myself in school for the first week, reading out loud, sinking my brains into books like nobody else’s business. Immediately I completed my form four exams, daddy would then say, "Welcome to the world son" and I would feel reality hit directly on my face. That time was gone and never to be seen again.

Unlike how I used to think, I would not want any of my brothers or sisters to live the same way. Life can be cruel yes, but that does not say why we should not live or aim to struggle for the best. In the same way, why shouldn't truth be told to the young generation who think that doing things at their interest rate is behooving? I am here to address a human being equally the same as me, that person who can think wide and deep that this life is not his or hers.
