Benjamin Netanyahu visit very much welcome

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to Kenya and Africa is highly welcome and commendable.

We anticipate Kenya will really gain from this historic visit, especially in trade, investments, technology and security.

Now, although Israel is a small country in terms of geographical size, it's an economic, diplomatic, technological and military superpower in the Middle East and the world in general.

It has taken Israel a long time to come to Africa, but it's better late than never.

In the modern dynamic and complex world, Israel needs Africa now more than any other time. The ever changing geo-politics, globalisation, Brexit and other threats like war against terror, Israel must build alliances and partnership with the African nations to kind of shield it from modern day challenges especially at the UN.

In a nutshell, Israel needs Africa more than Africa needs Israel. Meanwhile, Kenya is the fatherland of US President Barack Obama. Netanyahu must respect Obama regardless of his origins or background.
