Police PR tactic failed

After the Monday riots, which saw three people dead and several others injured in Nyanza region, the Kenya Police Service decided to airlift some officers they claimed were injured during the protests for specialised treatment at Nairobi West Hospital.

Twenty-nine police officers, interestingly all Administration Police, were airlifted to Nairobi with fractures that were similar – all on their right hand side.
