TSC mulls hiring retired teachers to bridge gap in North Eastern

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) may recall retired teachers back to service in North Eastern.

In a desperate move to bridge the gap left after more than 1,000 teachers refused to return to the region over insecurity, the commission has directed officials in Wajir, Garissa and Mandera to furnish it with data of serving, retired and graduate teachers.
