Hoteliers welcome UK's lifting of travel advisory

Kenya: Hoteliers in the Maasai Mara have welcomed the softening of a travel advisory by the UK, saying it will boost arrivals as the peak season at the game reserve enters its homestretch.

They hoped other governments that issued travel advisories against Kenya this year will follow suit, adding they were elated that the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FOC) said there were no travel restrictions on British citizens to popular safari destinations in the country.
