Tharaka Nithi, Kenya: A section of Jubilee leaders have slammed Alliance Party of Kenya (APK) leader and Meru Senator Kiraitu Murungi over threats to pull out from the coalition. Speaking during a fundraising in Mugona Girls School in Tharaka Nithi County, Maara MP Kareke Mbiuki and his Kikuyu counterpart Kimani Ichung'wa said Kiraitu's actions portrayed disrespect to the Government.
Kiraitu threatened to sever ties with the ruling coalition if APK is not allocated a portion of political party funds released to parties. Mbiuki said the Government does not operate on threats and dared Murungi to pull out of the coalition.
