Volleyball Team Off To Botswana

Three uncapped players are part of the national women’s volleyball team that leaves the country tomorrow for a four-day training stint in Botswana. Gaudencia Makokha, who was in the junior team that took part in the world junior championships in Mexico in 2009, Esther Wangeci and Ruth Chepng’tich, will receive their first taste of international exposure as the Kenyan team prepares for the all-Africa games zone five qualifiers next month in Ethiopia.
