Resolution Health relaunches medical insurance products

Medical Insurance provider, Resolution Health East Africa, has announced introduction of changes to its medical insurance products.

The changes, for both individual and corporate members, will take effect from February 1.

The move will see the enhancement of medical insurance products to reflect the global and international market dynamics, lifestyle changes, and consumer needs.

"Resolution Health EA is consistently looking for ways to enrich lives through our innovative medical insurance products and services suited to the needs and requirements of our customers.

"We are constantly revamping our products and offerings to ensure we can predict and cater for customer needs. With the enhanced products, we now offer an unparalleled level of covers to our members," said the medical insurance provider’s CEO Peter Nduati.

Resolution Health will now cover declared pre-existing conditions like diabetes, asthma, or heart disease across all its value plans and to its individual members.

Maternity cover is in built in the Corporate, Advantage and Superior Plans and increased limits of up to Sh200,000 in other plans.

HIV/Aids conditions and new home care services covering medically necessary home-based health and nursing services provided by visiting professionals such as nurses and physiotherapists, are now part of the in-built benefits.

The corporate plans have dental illness cover offered as a benefit, with international cover offered in some corporate plans.

Other enhanced benefits in the medical insurance products include increased cover limits for out patient, 0ptical and dental covers plus congenital cover, including new born baby illness cover to individuals and groups.

The company has introduced two other products in the last 18 months.

The announcement was made during the medical insurance provider’s Annual Broker’s Awards, where the top brokers were feted.
