Uhuru on audit report

An internal audit report on the alleged misappropriation of an estimated 4 billion shillings meant for the free primary education programme has now been handed over to the Kenya Anti-Corruption Commission.  Finance Minister Uhuru Kenyatta says the investigations indicate that the fraud may have been committed by ministry of education staff in cahoots with outsiders.  But as KTN’s Bonie Odinga reports, KACC director PLO Lumumba says  Uhuru’s action is a mere public relations stunt meant to impress world bank officials currently in the country.
