This is the person really keeping Jacob Juma’s truth and justice from us

The recent assassination of Jacob Juma has sparked countrywide political debate concerning who may have been involved in killing the controversial businessman. Being a billionaire is no small feat. In fact, it is more than a feat. It is undoubtedly everyone’s prime dream.

Let me start by asking the Lord to Rest Jacob Juma’s body in eternal peace.

What is supposed to follow this is justice. Kenyans who feel that Juma’s death was foul play are demanding for justice in the quickest form. But what is Justice? For me, justice is taking the right action. Justice is doing everything possible to reward an action with its deserved. The thing about justice is that as much as it is effective, it is never quick.

Anyway, going by my observations and the rumors that have been trending over the past week, I can conclude that one person may be the key reason why if this case is not taken seriously, justice will never be acquired regarding Jacob Juma’s death.

The name of this person is Corruption.

  1. Jacob Juma was shot seven times in his vehicle. Seven times. Initial assumptions were that was an armed robbery. Oh well we are all fools sometimes but even a mad man would not shoot you seven times with a designated firearm. Isn’t the point of robbery getting the job done as quickly and as quietly as possible? Certified firearm? Seven times? On one person? Raise any eyebrows? Robbery? Food for thought…..
  2. I was really sad when I saw Jacob Juma’s wife asking for the FBI and Scotland Yard to assist in the investigation of her husband’s death. Is it fair to say that even the wife of a billionaire not having complete trust in Kenyan investigation units is a sign of just how corrupt they are? I mean, money is the core of corruption. If a woman with possibly all the money she can have says this, what does it mean?
  3. If indeed the systems in place are clean, why was the family of Jacob Juma not notified as soon as his body was found? Why did the family have to wait to see the news on television just like the rest of us? Foul play? Corruption? I don’t know you tell me…
  4. If the rumors are true that one of the Opposition members has vital information about the killers of Jacob Juma and that justice in Kenya should be quick and right, why has he taken days to reveal this information to the public, or to court? Will the information remain concealed so that the scandal dies down? Is he waiting for another scandal to arise so that we forget about this one, which is typical of Kenyan leaders?

The gun used to assassinate the controversial business man was a gun that is only accustomed to the Kenya Police. If they had something to do with the murder, then the government cannot deny that they had zero awareness of what was going to happen, or awareness of who possesses these guns. The Opposition always likes to do things hastily. They want the IEBC officials out of office as quickly as possible. If one of them has vital information on the murder, why shouldn’t they produce it as quickly as possible? Why go to court with it when they never intended to remove IEBC officials through a court process?

Corruption bears its head in the minds of our leaders. If it is truly justice that Kenyan leaders want, they must be prepared to avoid being corrupt as help the motions. All said, corruption is the person who can keep us from knowing the real truth.

Anyway, as a patriot, I have learned that things are NEVER as they seem in our country. So I learn to have patience, because corruption is timeless.
