KCPE 2021: 23 out of 30 at school for disadvantaged score above 300

Twenty three out of 30 candidates who sat KCPE at the Kitale Family House of Hope Academy, Trans Nzoia, scored 300 marks and above.

The top student scored 377 marks, while the last got 251.

The top girl Cynthia Kaduka, who scored 368 marks, said she would wish to join Starehe Girls' Centre.

“I wished I had scored at least 400 marks, but this is what God gave me, and I am thankful. I appreciate my teachers for their efforts that made me achieve this,” she said.

Nixon Barasa, who also scored 368, wants to join Kapsabet Boys'. “We undergo different kinds of hardships but if you just concentrate on whatever you wish to achieve and work for it, you will eventually get it,” said Barasa. 

Apart from being a private day and boarding school, the school also supports orphans and vulnerable children from Kitale Family House of Hope Children’s Home.
