Locals flee as bandits kill KDF officer, hurt 5 others in Baringo

Locals are leaving their homes in droves for safer places, following the killing of a Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) officer and injuring five others by bandits in Rugus, Baringo County, on Friday.

Armed bandits are said to have taken over Mukutani, Rugus and Arabal locations in Baringo South and residents now fear further attacks.
