The county government has launched 100 days of Rapid Results Initiative (RRI) in the department of health to accelerate service delivery.

The move is aimed at mitigating the effects of medics’ strike which rocked the county last year after doctors, clinical officers and nurses downed their tools.

Health Executive Dr Anisa Omar yesterday said the RRI aimed at improving immunisation, family planning and deliveries done by skilled staff.

Dr Omar said a committee which will oversee the service delivery had been formed to evaluate results of the drive on a monthly basis and announce the results in June.
