Defending champions Gor Mahia will be seeking to return back to winning ways when they face Nairobi City Stars at Ruaraka Grounds on Saturday in one of the rescheduled six-matches set to be played across the country.

The record Kenyan champions will be heading into the match in the wake of their 2-1 defeat to run away leaders Tusker FC who just stretched their lead between them and Gor to 15 points.

Currently in fourth, Gor is yet to win a match in their last four matches played against Tusker, Western Stima, Bandari and Wazito but they will be looking to bounce back against sixth placed City Stars who are unbeaten in their last two matches.

Gor Mahia have suffered a huge blow last weekend after the exit of their FKF Cup winning coach Manuel Vaz Pinto.

Pinto’s assistant Sammy Omollo who will take charge at the club until the end of the season has since been tasked to lead the Gor out of the mud.

In Nakuru, ASK Showground will host a double header with Nzoia Sugar taking on Kakamega Homeboyz in the early kick-off match before Western Stima facing Ulinzi Stars.

Thika Stadium will also host a double header with Wazito playing KCB in the early match before Kariobangi Sharks take on Vihiga United FC.

Sofapaka will welcome Posta Rangers in Wundanyi Stadium in the other fixture.
