House girl’s lover boy falls down the ceiling

By PKEMOI NGENOH

A local saying goes, “chances of meeting someone or being caught in the wrong places increases whenever one tries to avoid someone or such places by all means”.

This is probably what a man in Posta Flats along Nairobi’s Likoni Road recently learned, when he was caught fooling around with a house help in her boss’ living room. His ability to think on his feet temporarily saved him when he hid in the ceiling of the house. Unfortunately, after inhaling a lot of dust, he could not hold back coughs he had successfully suppressed all along and went rip.

Sources told Crazy Monday the young man had been having a thing with the ‘kitchen technician’ for some time.

Taking advantage of the absence of her boss who always works in town till late in the evening, the house girl always invited the young man to her boss’ house for a little entertainment.

Unfortunately, one nosy neigbour informed her boss about the her dirty secret.

That fateful day, the two lovebirds’ goose was cooked when the owner of the house was tipped off via phone.

Within no time, she arrived and knocked on the door. Upon hearing the relentless knocks on the door and her name being called out to open the door, the house help knew it was her boss. The young man immediately sneaked into the ceiling through an unsealed opening.

Considering her boss had knocked for long, idle neigbours sensing free entertainment had began peeping through the curtains of their windows to catch a glimpse of what was going on. But when the house help opened the door, there was no one else in the house apart  from her.

The doubting boss found that a tad odd so she launched a search. Hardly had she began the frantic search when the man, having choked after inhaling dust, began coughing incessantly as he loudly gasped for fresh air. It didn’t take long before he crashed down with a thud on a table. He was covered with dust and cobwebs from head to toe and shaking life a leaf with fear.

The shocked boss began screaming as she looked at the apparition of a man, in the process attracting the attention of neighbours. After questioning his motives and why he decided to hide, she ordered him out as curious onlookers broke into uncontrollable fits of laughter.

Children in the neighbourhood have now nicknamed him ‘spiderman’!
