Administrator confronts police officer guarding betting machines in Murang’a

A Murang'a County administrator was shocked to find a police officer guarding a betting premises and machines banned by the Government.

Murang'a County Commissioner John Elungata found the policeman attached to Makuyu Police Station guarding the premise that had the betting machine.

Mr Elungata arrived at the market centre shortly after 10am yesterday and was led to the premise where he found the officer guarding the entrance.

Elungata demanded the machine be dismantled and ordered crackdown in all the 411 trading centres in the county to impound betting machines.
