Infinix, Jumia.com unveil smartphone partnership

Kenya: Smartphone and tablet manufacturer, Infinix Mobility, has launched a new android smartphone - Hot Note x551 with two days battery life and super-fast charge.

Unlike most smartphones, the Infinix Hot Note is backed by a massive 4000mAh battery with fast charging mode, which means that 20 minutes of charge allows you up to 7 hours performance.

"Through a 'factory-to-consumer' model, Infinix is partnering with Jumia.com, the leading player of e-commerce in Kenya, to reduce channel costs, create a new business model and bring incredible value to our end users," said Benjamin Jiang, Co-founder, Infinix Mobility.

Retailing at an introductory price of Sh9,999, the Infinix Hot Note smartphone will be sold through Jumia website, www.jumia.co.ke. According to Benjamin Jiang, the Hot Note x551 not only offers an exciting experience for the growing smartphone users in Kenya, but also gives more value for money. "The high specification is matched by a cutting edge design."
