eBay is down: Website crashes for frustrated shoppers

It is one of the most popular websites for keen shoppers, but it seems that eBay has crashed for users across the UK.

According to Down Detector, the issues started at around 08:16, and are affecting people in the UK.

While the nature of the issue remains unclear, 52% reported problems with the website, 33% with login, and 14% with checkout.

Several shoppers have taken to Twitter to vent their frustrations.

One user said: “Any chance you can get the uk site back up and running so that i can get the items i've sold shipped or is that too much to ask? I cannot remember the last time amazon was down.”

Another added: “Seems to be a problem with logging in to my selling page..a few others seem to have the same problem.”

eBay is yet to comment on the outage.
