State releases Sh1.4B to clear farmers’ debt for maize supplies to NCPB

The Government has released Sh1.4 billion to clear farmers’ debt for maize supplies to the National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB).

According to Treasury Cabinet Secretary (CS) Henry Rotich, the money is available following last week’s close of 2017-2018 financial year.
