Kenya Airways signs up for WheelTug in a deal to cut emission at the airport

NAIROBI, KENYA: National carrier, Kenya Airways and WheelTug plc, the aircraft e-taxi innovator, have executed a slot agreement for the airline’s fleet of Boeing 737NG aircraft.

Under this agreement, the WheelTug system will enable Kenya Airways airplanes to taxi forward and backward, using small electric motors in their nosewheels rather than jet engines or a tow tug.
