JICHO PEVU: MOHAMMED ALI: I WILL PROVE TO THE PEOPLE OF NYALI THAT I WON THE ODM CONSTITUENCY NOMINATIONS ON AUGUST 8.

Former KTN's investigative journalist and independent candidate for Nyali Member of Parliament seat Mohammed Ali alias Jicho Pevu has promised to win as he believes he "won" in the then ODM Nyali constituency nominations.

Mohammed Ali has decided to go independent to ensure that all of his political wills turn out to be equal as that of ODM. He stated in his campaign trail, yesterday, that this is a time for; "Mambo Yabadilika".

"I know that the people of Nyali are disappointed after I unfairly lost to my ODM nominations, but I am more than ready to bring back victory in a new face. I have all it takes to win," said Ali.

After the IEBC declared a campaign season, there has been a series of rallies between the two opponents who are all in support of Governor Joho's re-election and NASA's presidential candidate Raila Odinga's victory.

Words on street have it that Saido has an upper hand of winning the hotly contested seat because he is a cousin to Joho and a business tycoon, Abu, who is Joho's elder brother.

Some say he will win because he is in ODM led by Raila and deputy party leader Ali Hassan Joho and the people of Mombasa are entrusted to a 6- piece voting line. Nevertheless Mohammed Ali is still anticipatory of his win.
